We ask you note that any and all payments that are made in advance are non-refundable. Cumbernauld Flying Centre Ltd and the student will become in effect, 'mutually contracted' without limit of time, in respect of any payments in advance for any of the blocks of hours or discounted training schemes purchased.

Five-Hour Block Try-out
£886 fully inclusive
Either for someone who is contemplating starting the flying course and wishes to try a resonable number of flights, or as a very special gift. The cost for 5 Hours Fligt Training with the five associated landing fees, insurance and briefing is £886 inclusive. All of these training hourse can be logged for the PPL or NPPL licences. Note that this package can only be purchased once.

The cost of all the Aviation
Ground exams is £280.
Cost of Flight Training items £275.
When both of these costs are added to the legal minimum of 45 hours flight training, the full cost would be £8,433 inclusive
However
by paying £7,800 in advance, a discount of 7.5% will be applied providing a
saving of nearly £632!

Flight Training Prices

All of our flight training rates are based around 'one hour' of flight activity. Should flight times vary, all costs are pro-rata. Airport Landing Charges will be added to your flight invoice (where we shall pay those to the airport administrators on your behalf), or you can pay to the airport direct at the Control Tower.

PLEASE NOTE: Cumbernauld Airport levies a landing, and if appropriate, a "touch and Go" fee of £10.55 inclusive, to all flights. With the exception of Scheme 1 above, landing fees will be added to customer invoices at cost (or the customer can pay them direct to the airport in the Control Tower as they desire).
