at Cumbernauld Flying Centre Ltd - the most experienced
fixed wing flying centre at Cumbernauld Airport, Scotland.
The Flying Centre operates from modern premises, situated
on the First Floor within the main airport building at Cumbernauld
Airport, and with the exception of some Public Holidays,
we operate seven days per week. It is registered with the
Civil Aviation Authority for the purpose of providing Flight
Training and corresponding Flight Ground Exams under the
JAA/FCL standards.
We use Katana DA20, and the Piper Archer
III PA28/181 aircraft for training students for their Private
Pilots License (PPL) and the National Private Pilots
License (NPPL). The four seat Archer aeroplane is additionally
used for the advanced 'Night Flying' and 'I.M.C.' training
flight courses.
All of our aircraft comply with the necessary safety
and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) rules and carry appropriate
insurance for flying training purposes and for carrying
members of the public. Each aircraft has its own Technical
Log book for perusal. We invite you to take note of our adherance to Maintenance and Insurance requirements contained within.
